Community meetings, spreading awareness via media such as the student newspaper and promoting safety when travelling to young people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Was fortunate to spend a few months travelling around Canada and due to Couchsurfing and hitch hiking, was able to see vast amounts of the westcoast. It started with a no budget situation being the reason I chose to join, but now, I encourage my friends to join as it's such a great way to be plonked into the lifestyle of a local and meet great people.

This year visiting Innsbruck for just one week! Fortunate enough to meet couchsurfers to show me climbs, hikes, culture centres and places for coffee! I love this site.
