About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do more than just exist.
ABOUT ME
Relatively normal for a Franco-Irishman, apart from an intense dislike of cheese and Guiness! Enslaved by three beautiful cats - Cordelia, Dorian and Roland. Have a serious chocolate habit. I'm very open minded, easy going and tolerant of most things apart from stupidity. A bit shy and reserved to start with - the architypical Englishman - but quickly blossoms into a very warm and wonderful human being! I'm also house-trained - I always put the lavatory seat down after use!
I spend six months of the year leading a semi-nomadic existance in the back of a van exhibiting at flower shows - it satisfies some of my urge to travel!
PHILOSOPHY
Sometimes I sit and think, sometimes I just sit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My participation is limited as my work takes me away from home for a large part of the year. But having dipped my toe, I think it's time for a total body immersion!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first trip was amazing beyond belief - go to Donetsk, you'll love it! The response, and the hospitality, was more than I could have imagined. :-) And the icing on the cake? Being asked for my autograph in a Donetsk market by someone who had never met an Englishman before!
Interests
Everything and anything - I have a high boredom threshhold! Alchemy - does it count if it's not supposed to exist? OK, I'll start again: Architecture, Badminton, Cinematography, zzzzzz - an unquenchable curiosity.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to teach you how to graft Japanese maples but that's commercially confidential! But I can teach you how to make proper, pure, natural soap.
