Most importantly, simply having fun with life. Second, learn and grow. My current mission is to get my driving license since I bought a car already.. Yes, sometimes things go the other way around.

ABOUT ME

Whistling from corner to corner as I walk trough town, I hope to cultivate a cheerful thought in a passersby mind. Victory! if I hear whistling behind me right before that vivid soul turns around the corner and disappears into the city's cacophony.
Other than that I enjoy wearing socks

fresh herbs I like to buy
obviously, after a week they are ready to die.
I fly and hunt at night, with day-time in my mind.

Living carefree but caring in structured chaos where only I have the manual of. Then you should also know that I have been taught to never read manuals.

I lived in Luxembourg, Belgium when I was younger so my French is not to bad and after a year in Sweden I spoke the language quite ok. I like to practice German although I know it is very funny when I try to converse in it. Actually, I would practice any language when I have the opportunity to it.
I am highly interested in etymology, and how culture influences the language and vice versa!

PHILOSOPHY

When Life seems very -real-, I don't feel the need to determine and philosophize about Love, life, people and god. Other times that is all I do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I kind of see this network as an economy based on trust that has to keep moving to exist. You are offered hospitality and you return the favor by doing the same for another. And so on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In London around New-year, I came along with another friend who is an experienced CouchSurfer.

Kassel, in Germany. Visiting the dOCUMENTA exposition. It was an unplanned couchsurf-experience as we hitchhiked to Kassel with no plans for a sleeping place and the Occupy Movement gave us a place to set up our tent in the middle of the big square in front of the first museum.

Amsterdam: Had a great time there while all the gays of the world partied in the streets and in the water. The Gay-parade is absolutely a must-see :D. We went to the sugar factory on Sunday night when there is Wicked Jazz going on.

Hitchhiking trip from Hungary to Belgium - mostly stayed with couch surfers or people we met along the way which was unforgettable

Hitchhiked to Amsterdam, celebrated new year with a huge group of couchsurfers. If you go, mind the fire works, I felt like I was in a war.

I Like to sing, classical barrok, sound improvisation, mongolian overtone- and throat singing..

I am an extravagant dancer if I like the bass and beat.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Paris, je t'aime, La guerre du feu, Lars and the real girl, are the films I recently have watched and acclaim.'les intouchables'.

I like in particular Trip Hop because it combines allot of different styles. Daily I listen to classical music and I have been discovering the Blues lately. Not to miss out on World, Swing, Jazz and the electronic adaptations of it.

In this season of my life, as humans usually are attracted to what they recognize or need, I enjoy reading books about a students life. The secret History of Donna Tart, Norwegian Wood of Haruki Murakami, The marriage plot of Jeffrey Eugenides are certainly high on my list. Three daughters of china from Jung Chang, Stoner of John williams, Max Havelaar of Multatuli. The reader of Bernard Schlink, and the writing of Salman Rushdie.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have done many things but most of them were only amazing because they were shared with friends:

Spectacular lightning, a double rainbow, the most amazing skies, colorful horizons, endless fields in Sweden with occasionally an elk passing by.

collapsed through the ice of a half-frozen river when I was, to my great embarrassment, being silly about it towards an anxious friend. I cursed the longs out of my body (=dutch expression) in Swedish which I was very pleased about because that meant I was really owning the Swedish language.

I have been Ice-fishing on, like it seemed, an endless snow-covered lake. On that same lake have I done cross-country skiing.

I have made friends with an eagle in Spain. Possibly only in my conscious though.

I have seen a penis-tree in France.

I know a lot of particular facts from all kinds of topics and I might be able to amaze you with it as I was when I heard or read it.
I am a wandering wonderer. I'll stimulate you to think about something you hadn't thought of before or see it in a different light.
