ABOUT ME

My two passions are meeting new people (strangers are just friends I haven't met yet) and being in nature, specifically the mountains. Combining these two passions has created some of the most memorable experiences in my life. There's nothing better than exploring new places, pushing your limits, and then reflecting on the day while enjoying great conversation with a friend and a hoppy beverage!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few fellow travellers but have yet to go couch surfing myself. Loved hosting!! One of my couch-surfers was from Spain and I set him up with a job at the catering company I worked for. He ended up getting his own place and stayed in Vancouver for 6 months! Hearing about ppls travels and experience is invaluable.

Interests

When I'm in the mountains I'm in my element, its a love affair. My passions are hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, biking, skydiving, and sea kayaking. Aside from outdoor recreation you'll usually find me at a live music event of some sort or just chillin with a friend while enjoying good conversation and a malty beverage.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For my first travel experience outside of my country (Canada) I decided to travel Peru solo. I was amazed and humbled at how quickly I made connections with people from all different ethnicity, age, language, etc. Those connections have been life lasting so far and changed me in too many ways to list.
