About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

Well, this is always an embarrassing topic. What I think about myself doesn't usually agree with others' perceptions. Suffice to say, I like to try new things, be versed in all possible things, but I'm initially careful and not prone to take risks. I'm also honest and blunt as hell, which sometimes isn't good, but I can't help it.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing has any meaning, so you may as well have all the fun you can get.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only been hosted once, because I don't really plan my travel dates, but it's a hell of a lot cooler than staying in a ho(s)tel.

Also, I was walking in Indonesia, when a guy on a motorcycle stopped and asked me if I'm a couchsurfer. I was a bit surprised, but he offered me a ride and we had a talk in a café. Thanks to CS.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds, really. I like digging for hidden treasures. Favorites: Kitano Takeshi, Kurosawa Akira, Terry Pratchett, Alan Moore, George R.R. Martin, The Black Keys, Mumford and Sons, etc. Too many to list, but I'm always ready to chat about these things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a lot of amazing things when travelling through Asia. My favourites are mountains, which not just look cool, but also feels like an achievement when I climb them.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking, languages. I'm eager to learn and could also teach, but that depends - I'm not always patient. I may have other skills, but I'm usually oblivious to them, so that's a hit-and-miss business if ever there was any...:)
