This would take hours. Simply put, I am absolutely weird. Like a monkey on quaaludes.

PHILOSOPHY

Live for today, but remember tomorrow will most likely come, so treat others as you want to be treated, and follow your dreams with all of your ambition. We don't inhereit the earth; we borrow it from our children, so, as big winners of the genetic lottery (humans), we have a responsibility to leave the world we leave behind better than we found it. That's in all facets; economic, environmental, and social.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Donated money. Offered server space/admin help, and I could probably code too, but they don't really need the space, and I don't have as much time to code as I wish.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a lot of guests in Italy and Virginia. I haven't couchsurfed myself nearly as much, but looking forward to maybe Southern Italy, Spain, Croatia or Germany in my near-future.

My work (military), my former career (programmer/network security analyst), and my other former career (martial arts instructor). I have never had a job I didn't love, so I've been very lucky in life. And they make up the majority of my interests, other than good ol' politics and religion of course...

The first two don't taste nearly as good as the third one.

Seriously, I love more movies than most people, but less music; I don't like most hip hop unless I am at a club, and can't stomache opera unless it's live, or country unless it's in very small doses.

Books? Non-fiction or good historical fiction. Mostly non-fiction though.

This is like the "all about me" section. I mean, I've ruined a film take offering chocolate donuts to an actor while leaning out of a 1956 Lincoln limosine in SF at 3:00am; I've completed the Drunken Triple Crown (been thrown out of a Denny's (TWICE!), a Waffle House (nearly arrested), and a Lyon's (totally undeserved)); I've shot a whole serving of whipped butter out of my nose; I've been in combat; I've told exceptionally tasteless jokes while in St. Peter's Cathedral; I've had direct peer access to multiple IXP's (I'm an oldschool nerd).

I'm a child of Jefferson's theory on government, Hobbes' theory on natural law, Dawkin's theory on biology, Hitchen's theory on religion, Machiavelli's theory on politics, Kaku's theory on multi-dimensional physics, M. Friedman's theory on economics, Bill Hick's theory on drugs, Sam Harris' theory on ethics, and Ayn Rand's theory of philosophy. There's so much knowledge in this world to acquire and share and pass along. I just hope to be a part of it.
