Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHY I'm HERE.
CS is a unique way of meeting people, sharing experiences and laughs, learning languages and cultures, having fun and finding adventures and new unforgettable experience. Its a way of finding new friends who later become "good old friends" and then "the best friends".
And the last but not least, is a way to find yourself. And probably on your road you will help someone to find himself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first and unforgettable experience (Dec 2011-Jan 2012) with CS was New Year celebration with Bilbao (Spain) CS community. Honestly speaking I hardly have had such a fun ever (with more than 18 couchsurfers from 10 different countries). I am so grateful to my new Bilbao CS friends (namely Tania, Raul, Josu, Iban, Elena, Frederico, Dani and others) who gave me a pleasure of knowing them and their beautiful and friendly and so TASTY (and rainy) Basque country, and who fed me up to “I can’t eat more!” with a crazy and unbelievable things like pintxos with 15 types of prawns, mushrooms, various seafood (will never remember original names of all the kinds of that stuff), chorizo, morcilla y tortilla, cheeeeeeese of all types; who made me drunk me up to “I cant drink more!” with apple sidra and delicious patxaran and weird txakoli; who took me out up to “no puedo salir mas!” to various discos, bares, and other intimate places of interests in Bilbao and its surroundings. My sincerely thanks to all of you guys who has made my time in Bilbao so exiting, smiling and warm. I am really touched with all you have done for me, and your patience with my poor Spanish worth an another page of appreciation.

Interests

** My current passion is to learn playing my spaceship, handpan. It's sound is cosmic and hypnotic, I dream to play on the streets and let people feel this magic.
** My another passion is to feel myself travelling. Be on the way. No matter where - but when I am driving, flying, riding a bike, in other words - when I am on my way to somewhere, I feel myself happy. More then when I get to the final destination. More then when I get back home. Sense of movement is life for me.
** Also i am fond of dancing, swimming, painting, travelling, organizing weddings of friends and tasting sweets in different countries.
** I'm good in giving foot massage:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(2011):
- I started speak Spanish within a month almost without studies.
- I did a course of piloting a small plane
- I danced my first valse
- I've experienced the best night in my life (but i am sure that the double best is coming)

(2017)
- I have written my first 2 stories
- Found a hobby that became my job
- I overcame my fear and did snorkeling. I loved it.

(2018)
- I'm learning to play handpan! It makes me happy
- Fell in love with danza folk
- Learning to juggle with 3 balls:) Impossible but I will make it. UPD. I made it! It took 2 months and now I'm to juggle with 3 balls! here's the proof! https://www.facebook.com/katia.panits/posts/10156478982681308
- started to speak Italian in less then 1 month
- lived in Tuscany for 4 months

Something incredible I feel
