About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To drink at least one good coffee in each city I visit.

ABOUT ME

I know how cool it is to meet locals. So here I am! Open minded, social, interested in many things (especially in people from abroad). I love being alone but I also love company so that makes me an easy surfer. Don't mind about me! As long as we can go for a drink afterwards

I love travelling on my own. I first tried it by visiting Stockholm and since then I'm addicted to the feeling of freedom!

When I'm not travelling I:

-work at a real estate company
-edit videos for my company
-discover new songs and listen to them all day
-play with Google Earth (best invention ever)
-learn Spanish on my own without any result yet
-sit on the train and enjoy it
-take photographs and pretend I have talent like everyone does
-walk because I hate waiting for public transport
-run to the next stop when the tram/bus approaches
-read French books and newspapers while I neglect my English
-play forgotten one hit wonders at home parties by using Youtube
-buy books and never read them
-read other books and try to convince everyone to read them
-try to see my friends as much as possible
-write down all the movies I've seen so far. 372 and still counting.
-read things about history
-drink coffee, green tea, beer, wine and perrier
-...

PHILOSOPHY

-> Il faut rèver. Il faut rèver toujours. Il faut surtour rester fidèle à ses rèves de jeunesse, ce sont les seuls.

-> You can't bungee jump without a bridge.

-> Clame ta fierté de ce que l'on a été, et celle de ce que l'on est devenu.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I traveled a lot when I studied and before I got a full-time job so now I don't have much time anymore to travel whenever I want. But I'm always willing to help others with their questions on Ghent and Belgium.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard many nice stories about Couchsurfing and because I love meeting people from other countries I gave it a try while living in Brussels. There I hosted about 7 people from all over the world which only gave me good experiences! When I went to Berlin and Paris I surfed the couch of two locals who showed me their cities as they are.

In 2012 I travelled for 2 months through North America and I managed to sleep in 18 different houses thanks to CS. 18 houses, 18 stories.

Interests

Travelling, People, Cities, Stories, Good moments, Friendship.

Sounds a bit weird but hanging out with a nice person at the bar and just drink some beers or wine is some of the most pleasant things to do. Just talking and laughing!

I work in a bar and in the last 10 months, I became a videographer too because I just said "ok I'll try it" and now I have one project after another. I like!
I also adore people who know how to cook because I really can't. Except making a salad and baking eggs.

-Living in a capital where you're never sure which language someone speaks. Brussels i love.
-my 50days of America
-Couchsurfing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages! Would love to learn some Spanish! And since I've been in Lisbon I think Portuguese is such a beautiful language that I could just listen whole night to someone reading a Portuguese book without understanding a word. Just the sound!
