About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to learn and grow. And learning is all about knowing, understanding and meeting people.

ABOUT ME

I believe one is better defined at first glance by what one does and thinks, so here we go! :) Small pieces of the whole:

*I love to play the guitar and recently I am learning how to play the ukulele
*I have studied theatre for two years and have performed two plays within a theatre group called GTP at São Paulo.
*I enjoy to learn a new language and a foreign culture. At the moment, I am making my efforts to improve my french! ;)
*I enjoy talking about meanings in life and politics. But when I say politics I mean the attitudes that we take to make our environment a better place including of course people and nature.
*I am a music lover
*I enjoy the sun, the sea and the beach
*I like photography. At the moment, trying to take decent pictures on a DSLR... :)
*My perfect night plan would be a beer with friends, a guitar and a fireplace in a distant beach.
*Engineering is cooler if u mix that with art and creative projects. My professional goal is to cope these areas squeezing the best of them.
*And above all I like the thrilling, fear and excitement of facing the unknown!

PHILOSOPHY

The thing I like most is to learn. I could not have found truer words than Gandhi´s quote: "Live as if you would die tomorrow, learn as if you would live forever".
Besides that, I search in the world a refugee of people that can think by the whole and not by themselves, like the most.

This is the closest of my philosophy that was expressed in words:

"Wind in my hair, I feel part of everywhere
Underneath my being is a road that disappeared
Late at night I hear the trees, they're singing with the dead
Overhead...

Leave it to me as I find a way to be
Consider me a satellite, forever orbiting
I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me
Guaranteed"

Excerpt from Guaranteed - Eddie Vedder - Into the Wild OST

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a very thankful person for the possibilty of meeting the human beings I met while I'm studying here in Europe. Thanks to them I learned a lot and I am sure you, dear reader, and me can share and grow together!

Interests

I like to read, to meet new people and learn more about their culture, to play soccer,to camp, to meditate and to watch a good movie and a party is always enjoyable :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like brazilian music (MPB) Chico Buarque and Tom Jobim are my favorite composers.
My favorite movies are The Godfather trilogy, Into the Wild and Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
I don´t have a preference for books, each book is a special experience. But the one that really changed my mindset was The Road Less Traveled - Dr. Scott Peck. I extremely recommend this book if we by chance have the opporunity to talk I can show you why :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first moment was when I needed to live by my own because I needed to move to study in a different city. The first days were really hard because I was 16 and I was used to live with my parents. They did my food, my laundry, etc. The second moment that left me awestruck was the first time I visited Madrid in Spain. Actually it was last year, and the city is just amazing. Every ´calle´ and ´bar de tapas´ are awesome and the people here are very receptive.

Teach, Learn, Share

As long we share we learn. If we are sharing our lifes and experiences we are learning.

Countries I’ve Visited
