ABOUT ME

I have just taken a 6 month healthcare position at one of the local hospitals, which will hopefully be extended so I can stay here longer!  At the moment I am living with friends an hour north of Christchurch, which is great but a temporary arrangement.  I am wanting to find people to socialise with, ride easy bike trails with, go kayaking, caving, roadtrips, and sail if there are any fellow yacht club members out there!  I am hoping to move into the city in January.Before becoming a healthcare professional (sorry for vagueness but have to be a little careful online), I worked as an outdoor instructor for 5 years, and its now something I do for leisure, as often as possible.  I am just wanting to get to know more people, and have some fun random times.  I have a car and can travel.  Female, mid 30's, non-smoker (but not precious about it), crap alcohol tollerance but I like a good night out!

PHILOSOPHY

Pay it forward..I am a mon-fri 9-5 job/'boring' professional (I actually love my job), with a light smattering of hippy.  I believe that Karma will provide/catch you up. Religious Views: If I had a religion it would be Jedi (reflects my belief in energy) / on a clear day I can see the spire..Love many, trust few, always paddle your own canoe..

I once got put up in someones pool house in the Ardeche, after I turned up (with an injurred knee and therefore wheelie suitcase) with no campsite booked and got picked up hitchhiking.  I spoke no french, he spoke no english, but it didn't stop us having heated evening debates over which of our nations had 'conquered' the most colonies.  I later paddled the Ardech on inflatable crocodile.Have seen half a large tower block flood when working as an asbestos analyst in London. Been to the Mekong Delta and paddled through flooded tropical rainforest. Oh, it said one!
