PHILOSOPHY

Nature is my religion. I am awed by the shapes, colors and diverse behaviors of life of every size. When you look and observe it is a meditative and wonderful experience.

I found this philosophy and this also resonates with me:
"I beg you... to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. and the point is, to live everything. live the questions now. perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer... Choices are around in every moment. Do your best and trust in the higher power of a karmic law... Having too much stuff can be overwhelming...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS in 2011 and was only active for a few months. As of August 2013 I turned on the bug light again and lots of wonderful things happened!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did a black light bubble art installation at a CS Sonoma Couch Crash party last year. People loved it and Bob was an awesome host!

We did a treasure hunt too... One of my pictures came from that party... Much silliness and laughter.

Centres d'intérêt

Interests include simple things like spontaneous encounters, sleeping outdoors, chasing sunsets and full moon rises, watching clouds, finding beauty in the ordinary.

I am a raw food chef, an opportunivore and I won't have a cow if you bbq.... or maybe I will. ;)

I'm in search of connection, meaning, inspiration...

Learning from every new encounter and interaction with all ages and walks of life and hopefully leaving the people and places I've seen a little better off from my presence there.

I am well read and educated. I have spent several years living in France and am bi-lingual. My tastes and interests in media is diverse as a consequence of world travel and foreign education.....

Fearing what you don't understand is the root of most major misunderstandings in the world. Instead of fearing what you don't understand, learn about it. Maybe in time, you'll appreciate it or possibly bring enlightenment to the situation!
