ABOUT ME

Hi,

My name is Tilen and I come from Slovenia, which many confuses with Slovakia.
So the conversation of telling someone where I am from goes like this:
My name is Tilen, I'm from Slovenia.
AAaaahhaa....
You know where that is,the answer is.
Mmmmm...No.

I like explaining where I am from, because, it is a beautiful country, with a lot of natural beauty to explore. It's small in size but big in love. One minute you can be on the highest mountain, which is Triglav, and the next minute swimming in the sea, Portoroz. It's neighboring countries are Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia and in the middle of all that chaos is Slovenia. But I must say we Slovenians take our land for granted. Which is, sad to say, a shame.

So, you now know where I'm from. Let's talk about what I do. I'm currently trying to enhance my entrepreneurial skills as an import/export expert.

When I'm not working I go to University of Management and organisation in Kranj, that's about 30 km from where I live, Ljubljana. It's a small University and everybody knows each other. Well it's my last year, hopefully.

Between my job and my education I try to be as active as possible. I like to run, go to the gym, but mostly I like playing basketball. Back home I organized a team so that we play other teams. Which is awesome! And occasional movie and PlayStation never hurt nobody. A good movie goes a long way, you can say I'm a bit of a movie freak. I also worked in a DVD rentAmovie shopp, where I have seen lots of movies. It gives you a perspective on what a good movie should be. The anticipation, the mystery of what is going to happened,the thrill...BOO.

I also like photography and taking photos, it doesn't mean that I'm good at it, just to capture a moment in time. Which is an awesome feeling, when you catch that moment in time and after a while looking back and having a laugh.

So, in short, that's I guess all about me.

My philosophy is my perspective on PLANING - a mean of the things you know will go wrong!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well I was amazed lots of times, but the best one was when I attended a TEDx seminar. It was like a total new experience. Meeting all sorts of different people, which I enjoy. But the thing that really struck me was in each speaker you could tell he had that will of trying to solved a problem, small or beg, local or global. Which is just amazing.
