About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get on the throttle and see what's 'round the next bend

ABOUT ME

Maybe ..one day...surf my couch and find out..I'm not much good at self description.

PHILOSOPHY

uuhhmmmm..I don't think I have one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only a couch to offer at this point in time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted Will for a few nights. Great first experience I hope they are all as good. Surfed Aahna's couch in Ahmedabad and met Sven and Erin amongst others. What a great 1st experience. I hope there are many more.

Interests

I restore old motorcycles and keep my engineering skills in tune by repairing odds and ends for a few local farmers. I do a bit of fishing when the urge takes me and the rest of my spare time is taken up riding around on a motorcycle somewhere interesting. More recently my couch is unavailable because I am travelling the world working for my Son and I am only home for a few months of each year.

Music, Movies, and Books

"The fastest Indian" is my favourite movie at the moment. The Ray Charles movie was the previous one. Both were a beautiful story and quite believable. Blues and Jazz plus all the old stuff that brings back memories of a youth lost, Beatles, Bee Gees, PP&M, Dylan, Yeah Yeah I know..square as a brick...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Still standing after all these years...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach someone to weld in 10 minutes. I need someone to teach me how to play the acoustic guitar in the same time. I can fix your motorcycle and your Mums old clock, in fact ..if it's mechanical I can fix it. I like to share my meagre skills and recycle everything I can, save myself and others a few dollars and reduce my environmental footprint.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, China, Cook Islands, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, Peru, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
