ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Fruzsi, pronounced froo-shee. I am a 24 year old painter currently living in Tokyo, but originally from Adelaide, South Australia. My days in Tokyo are now filled with writing, vegan/veg cooking, and bike riding. I teach English privately in local cafes and maintain my painting practice. I also love to read, paint and take analog photographs. My instagram is fruzsikenez. Much of my time is spent working on my online shop and artistic practice. http://www.fruzsikenez.com/ http://www.peachpatrol.etsy.com/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by spreading the good word about CS and its ability to make instant friends. I just love how sharing a meal can bring people closer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2010 a friend and I visited Belgium and stayed with a super duper amazing family for three nights. They were so so lovely. They introduced us to the traditional Flemish game of sjoelbak and let us play with their three beautiful boys. I've surfed lots since and hope to have many more experience like this!

I also surfed in Montreal for a week with Katie B, who is not only a super duper host who can save your life in an emergency situation, but is also my soul sister, and champion singer/dancer :D

Then last week I surfed with Ichiro in Tokyo which was one of the best experiences ever.

Interests

I enjoy learning languages (japanese right now), cooking, baking bread, yoga, bushwalking, archery, camping, painting, massage & aromatherapy, traveling, tea, Roald Dahl books, playing classical piano, WOOFing, foreign films and documentaries, WOMADelaide music festival, longboarding, beach, speaking okka aussie slang, planning trips around the world, dancing, playing didgeridoo, making friends with cats around the world.
