Easy going, fun loving and very open minded. Love to travel on my own and with friends and with people I don't know. I love to meet new people and find out about people's experiences, stories and adventures as well as their backgrounds and interests.

I've never really thought about having a personal philosophy but I enjoy living and always like to make the most out of life, not sure what more I can say!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing however I did end up staying on someone's floor in Tibet after they saw me attempting to sleeping in a corner of house and kindly offered to take me in. Though being driven up a mountain road in the back of a pick-up truck by a stranger in the middle of the night was slightly nerve-racking!

Interests

I love food and also like to cook food for my friends. Every time, when i get a new place, i will try new food and lean how to cook it. My Chinese food is really very good.

outside door sports are my favorite, such as hitch hike, travelling, cycling. i once spent one month cycling from the east part west part of China.i also play table tennis, badminton.

I'm interested in a wide variety of music but I don't think I've found one genre which I absolutely love. I love particular songs and tracks rather than whole genres.

I love socialising - meeting people in any environment, whether that's at work, in the pub, at friend's houses. Anywhere!

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess like most people I like too many to list but if I have to pick only a few movies i'd probably choose: Cinema Paradiso,The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button , Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather trilogy.

As for music, I guess my favourite artist would probably be westlife but I enjoy listening to most genres, mainly rock or soul/Motown but also some jazz and classical.

At the moment I mainly read books on philosophy, politics and economics for my course. In terms of books i read for fun I tend to give most things a go but I really enjoyed some of the novels of Kafka, Camus and Dostoevsky that i've read recently and the (slightly less depressing!) travel books by Bill Bryson. I have a slightly strange passion(?) for collecting travel guides as well.
