About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Back in Paris for a few years, I think!

ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling, discovering new cultures, new countries, new people and I'm sure that CS is the right place to realize all these projects.

PHILOSOPHY

While we are postponing, life speeds by!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After having lived in New Zealand in 2012 (I surfed in a few places there), I went back to Paris for one year. I had the occasion to host some people. Not that many, though, but I liked it. Then, I lived in China for two years, where CS is not very developed yet but I had good experiences as well. Now, back to living in Paris where I'll try to host people from time to time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a lot of very interesting Couchsurfing experiences in France, New Zealand and China . Hope it'll continue.

Interests

Travels : I've already travelled in many places (not all listed below...too long), and I especially enjoyed African countries. And New Zealand. And Iceland. And China, of course. And others. Ok, all of them. Sports : Played a lot of sports in my short life, tried many things (not always with much success), athletics, tennis, rugby, skiing, soccer, diving. I play the piano, the flute, and I just bought a guitar...I need some lessons, though.
I also enjoy writing poems; I could share some of them with you, if you'd like.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a book collector. All sort of books. And in every language. Can't say that I would be able to read all of them, but for someone who doesn't know the Chinese language very well yet, only looking at it remains kind of an experience...
Anyway, if I were to travel with a single book in my bags, I think it would be The Man Without Qualities, by Robert Musil.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to Istanbul from Paris by bicycle, with two friends. 4100 km in one month and 7 days...an exceptional way to meet wonderful people from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey, as you can imagine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really enjoy sharing tips about countries where I've been and talking about travels on and on. What else...French lessons?

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Croatia, Côte d'Ivoire, Iceland, Italy, Kosovo, Madagascar, Russian Federation, Serbia, Spain, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, France, New Zealand
