ABOUT ME

Me encanta conocer algo nuevo y desconocido cada día. No importa que tan trivial sea: si me da curiosidad y me mantiene al borde de experimentar algo genial, me basta.

Devoro películas y libros sin piedad.

También me gusta conocer gente nueva e ir a lugares que nunca haya pisado, reír a cada rato mientras bebo una cerveza y hablo (que jode) de arte, fútbol y cosas raras, azarosas o estúpidas.

I like to find something new and strange every day. Whatever makes my mind tick in curiosity or excitement, it's great: the silliest thing can do the trick. Being constantly amazed and intrigued is what mainly keeps me going.

Films and books are my thing.

Other favorites: meeting new places and people, laugh (I can laugh pretty loud), have a beer and talk, talk a lot (about music, football, food, life, Youtube videos and shit that happens... I talk a lot)

If someone would ask me what my "personal philosohy" is, I would probably say something along the lines of what that old, sophisticated thinker Russell Hammond said in the film Almost Famous: "I'M ON DRUGS!". Then I'd laugh and amicably suggest we change the subject :)

I've surfed only once before, and I've only hosted one time. I mostly attend meetings in Caracas, although it's been a while now, been super busy lately (DAMN YOU WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

He hospedado y surfeado una vez, y acabo de ir a mi primer meeting con gente de acá, y me gustó muchísimo, espero de verdad ir a otros eventos pronto.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Ver por fin el Salto Ángel fue algo casi surreal.

En mi segundo día en Nueva York, mi primo cumplía años y nos lanzamos a Coney Island, fuimos al parque de diversiones, a un show de freaks, comimos chile y bebimos cervezas. En la noche, en casa de una amiga, bebimos ron en su balcón, viendo todo Nueva York, y fue tal vez, para mí, el mejor día que pasé en mi ciudad favorita del mundo.

Seeing the Angel Falls. Awesome.

My second day in New York City, on my cousin's birthday, we went to Coney Island, rode the Cyclone, saw a freak show, ate chili fries and beer and at night, we went to a friend's house to drink rum at his balcony, watching Wall Street and the Hudson at night. We couldn't believe we were actually there. Best day in the best city in the WORLD.
