ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old student, currently trying to see as much of the world as I can. Although I'm from a suburb of Chicago, I consider my homebase to be the University of Illinois. I've spent the last year traveling through the USA, Australia, and Mexico. I'll be welcoming the New Year in New York City and spending six months in Buenos Aires, Argentina during 2012.

When I'm at school, my apartment is always open to surfers. Unfortunately, I'll be traveling until August 2012, so I'm just looking to surf for the time being.

When I'm not studying, traveling, or reading, I work as a volunteer EMT in my college town. I'm also trying to learn how to cook--ethnic dishes are my favorite!

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love to read. Everything from trashy romance novels to the classics. My favorites include Vidal, Sedaris, and Nabokov. Ask me what I'm currently reading!I also really enjoy movies. Lately I've been watching more international ones, especially from Argentina and South America.

I'm trying to learn as much Spanish as I can before I leave for South America. Teach me a few words or lets practice together.
