ABOUT ME

I'm a happy guy and am always smiling and laughing. I've just finished a 10 month adventure around the world taking me through Europe, the US & Canada and South America and am now in Sweden studying a Masters in Astrophysics.

I love meeting new people, trying new things and experiencing new cultures. I find languages fascinating and enjoy learning and speaking in other languages (even if I'm not very good at it!). I love food and trying weird and wonderful local cuisines wherever I am.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the opportunity to host anyone yet, so at the moment it's been meeting people in new cities and getting involved in various CS events.

So far, I've had nothing but fantastic experiences! Everyone I've met through Couchsurfing has been amazing.

Interests

My biggest interests are travelling & languages, health & fitness, and science & technology. I absolutely LOVE travelling! I've travelled around Europe a lot and also a little of Asia and North America, and more recently down to South America. I also enjoy spending my time staying fit and healthy by playing sports, going to the gym or trying new activities and exercises (and this also allows me to enjoy another interest of mine -- food!) I love learning new languages even though I'm not too good at them and I also am really interested in science and technology.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Matrix, Fight Club, Inception, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Pulp Fiction, Avatar, The King's Speech, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Jams Bond, nothing out of the ordinary here. Really enjoy documentaries too!

Shows:
Top 3 at the moment by a landslide: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Sherlock. Also really like Entourage, Extras, The Inbetweeners, Mad Men, Life's Too Short, Firefly. I'm sure I've forgotten some.

Music
I go through various phases and moods with music. At the moment, I'm really enjoying alternative rock and some housy stuff if I feel like I need some more energy for partying. But there's not much I don't like.

Books
Harry Potter series, Dan Brown's stuff, The Hobbit, currently reading the Game of Thrones series. I need to read more than I do!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Exploring the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia.
- Hot air ballooning over the fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.
- Climbing up to Machu Picchu at sunrise.
