About Me

Hey! My name is Jacob. I'm traveling to Israel in January 2017 and I'm beyond excited to see my Jewish homeland for the first time! I would like to see the historic heritage sites, national parks, cities, and everything in between. I'm also vegan so if you can show me the best vegan spots that would be awesome! I'm looking to couch surf if anyone is hosting. Even if you can't host, I would be just as happy to hang out, if you can show me around. Thanks for reading!

More about me: I've lived in Los Angeles for 3 years now. I'm vegan for the animals. Music is what I'm most passionate about. I make beats and play piano. I speak Spanish and slowly trying to improve my Hebrew. I school right now planning to become a teacher. I'm into photography, world history, and politics. I also make amazing CD mixes (feel free to ask me for one!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling to Mexico in a few weeks! I haven't couchsurfed in over a year, but I would love to while I'm visiting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first couch surfed a couple of times while I was traveling in Argentina. It was definitely a new, refreshing experience that made me feel more immersed in the cities I was in.

I also couch surfed once here in the U.S. in Philadelphia. This was probably my favorite CS experience. The girl I was staying with was very cool and introduced me to several of her friends. She also hosted an awesome vegan potluck in her apartment, where I had some super good food and conversations with people.

Interests

Making beats, photography, underground music, world history ethnology, meeting new people, geography.
