Interesses

I love language. I love engaging in conversation and sharing experiences. Hiking and running are two recent passions of mine, while football (soccer) is something I pursued for 18 years and am still pushing to pursue once more. I have traveled around many diverse parts of the US with friends but this is one of my first individual travel pursuits, so I am laid back and easygoing but eager to work out the details of what goes along with travel!

The top of the Grouse Grind in Vancouver - takes my breath away (literally) every time.
The Grand Tetons (at Jenny Lake) in Wyoming (either that or Montana, or Idaho...) - most stunning view of anywhere I have ever been. I have never felt so small compared to this world than I did that day.
Stepping foot in Europe for the first time - Sept 25, 2012 - my dream come true!

It's so important to love what you're doing and to follow your heart. I have learned that over the past few years. It's scary and can sometimes seem misleading, but underneath it all, it's what's most important in life. If not now, then when?
