About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life!

ABOUT ME

Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile! A little about me, after many years of schooling I decided to take a short break and head to Thailand to teach English. I can not begin to tell you the doors this opportunity has opened up for me! I was fortunate to travel around the world for several years and couchsurf in over 10 countries. I recently went back to school and completed my Masters in Speech and Language Pathology. Now I am trying to figure out the next chapter :)

I consider myself an independent and adventurous person. I try to see and absorb as much as possible when I am travelling. My favourite part about travelling is getting away from the tourist attractions and meeting locals and learning about their culture. I enjoy couchsurfing and staying at hostels so that I can hear other peoples journeys. Thank you in advance to those who are kind enough to share their homes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to choose just one thing. I would say it is a toss up between going to North Korea and hiking to Everest base camp. Everest base camp was definitely the hardest thing I have ever had to do both physically and mentally. I spent 18 days trekking and it was absolutely worth it! On the other hand North Korea was one of the most craziest things I have ever done. I spent 10 days "trying" to explore the unknown country. One memory that stands out is seeing the mass games with over 100,000 performers!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the feedback I get from people from back home who have said I have inspired them to travel. I am always open to share what I liked and didn't like and help others plan their trip.
