Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends told me about the possibility to meet new people, make friends, taste new cultures and travel all around the world doing this. I did not hesitate for a minute and joined.
For a long time I did not have an opportunity to host actively. Now (finally) the circumstances has changed and it would be my pleasure to host you.

Interests

Traveling, traveling & traveling once again.
But yes, there are a lot of other interests - literature (now I am in the phase of Scandinavian thrillers :D), music (thank you, little sis for keeping me in touch with contemporary music & making new playlists for me), cooking and baking (mostly baking, it is my passion to create something from a flour and egg), sports (well... I like to hike, but it has to be a challenge. I like to cycle, but the surroundings has to be nice. I like to climb, but I do not have a sport partner to do it. I like longboarding, but I do not have a longboard. I love skiing, but the winters in the Czech republic sucks, so there is no snow most of the time. You see? Poor me. Stay hypocrite :D), pointless discussions with a glass of wine, good food, procrastination and doing nothing (actually, I am an expert in this). And also event organising (e.g. international psychology students cogress or international psychology students conference).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some interesting facts about psychology or how to make a cheap student meal at the dormitory (sometimes it is pretty challenging under the circumstances :D).

I would love to learn how to cook some of your national cuisine! It would be great if you bring me a reciepe for your favorite national meal (and the best option is also cook that meal if it is not very difficult and the poor dormitory kitchen is enough for it).

Because sharing is caring, I would love to share tips for traveling and for a books worth to read, movies to watch, music to listen, places to visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live at the university dormitory and it would be my pleasure to share with you my room. There is a bed with the bed linen prepared for you. You can see how it works in the Czech dormitories (but do not expect a lot, dorms in movies are much more fun than reality :D) There is one condition - guests has to pay at the reception around 86 CZK (cca 3,5 €) fee per night (that money goes to the University and I unfortunately can not do anything with it).
