About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Cycling around the world

ABOUT ME

In February 2014 I quit my job, moved out of my house in London and set off to cycle around the world. I will be relying a lot on the kindness of strangers to put me up for the night. I'd love to spend sometime with local people along the way. :)
I've already cycled across Europe and Asia, now I am in Vancouver and will be traveling down the Americas when I have a bit more money!

I'm peaceful, thoughtful, laid back and very open-minded. I take an interest in what is going on in the world and try to make a difference in whatever small way I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had wonderful experiences hosting and surfing and hope for many more as I ride around the world!

Interests

I used to live in London where I loved exploring it by bike and on foot, seeing the buildings and people change as you go from one neighbourhood to another. Now I'm cycling through countries I'm looking forward to seeing the cultures and landscape change and meeting locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled 15,000km across two continents - and I'm not done yet!

Hiking through the Scottish highlights starting from the mainland UK's most remote village, accessible only by ferry. I didn't see a single other person, road, car or house for 3 days of walking and 'wild camped' in some really beautiful spots.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, China, Croatia, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macedonia, Malaysia, Montenegro, Morocco, Norway, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uzbekistan, Viet Nam
