ABOUT ME

Elisabeth is a Dancer of Life-particularly Dances of Universal Peace and flow dance
She has been a mental health professional working with adults with severe and persistent mental health issues and teenage parents. She's deeply connected to lake Atitlan, Spirit Life and being of service.

Steve is a Texas singer songwriter who shares his music internationally. His humor delights those with sharp ears and wit and his gentle hearts gives new and long term friends a welcome.

PHILOSOPHY

We as individuals and as a couple seek to live in harmony with the earth, our community, our friends and family. We want to share what we know with others and learn new things and meet new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Elisabeth volunteers two days a week at a rural clinic in San Juan de la laguna. Steve is creating a music school for young indigenous youth.

Música, películas y libros

Steve is an avid reader of mystery and suspense novels. Elisabeth reads historic novels, spirit based books and some science fiction. As a singersong writer, Steve has a lot of his own friends who are musicians who we listen to which helps us feel close while far away. We enjoy jazz, blues, Americana, country, classical, not much for opera, though...
Movies we watch for fun on the computer, mainly what friends pass along

Algo increíble que he hecho

One amazing thing for Steve was the birth of his identitcal twin sons. For Elisabeth one of the most amazing and powerful experiences was accompanying her father as he transitioned off this earth plane.

WE love meeting other musicians and dancers and jamming together, trading songs and moves. Steve is an accomplished guitar and harmonica player and currently has a ukelele teaching group. Elisabeth is a dancer and beginner uke player. She is also a Reiki Master and Flower Essence practitioner.
