ABOUT ME

Hello everyone I'm Yumi from Hong Kong :)

My hobbies , Traveling and making friends are basically same as everybody here. I wanna explore the world finding out how many different ways of life and culture through traveling.Besides, I am also desperate to visit other countries and see its wonders with my own eyes.

My first adventure was traveling in Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia by myself for 45 days in 2012 summer time.You can't imagine that how much i have learnt during the journey. It is just feels like step into a whole new world and i just feel pure happiness and full of brightness ,everything is funny and possible.

After the first long trip in my life and back in Hong Kong, poorer and heavier than when i started but full of good memories. Those memories are just so great that every time i remember them, i get a desire to go back in time! That's

I guess i have bitten by the travel bug seems to be an infection that never goes away :P Can't wait to have my own picture of world !

I discovered couchsurfing thanks to a Russian :D

We met in the language exchange forum first. One day he told me he’s going to travel to Germany via couchsurfing. It’s naturally that I asked “What’s it?“ This guy is a couchsurfer, and he made me know and love this concept!! So I registered in order to know more about CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much Couchsurfing experience so far.

I’ve done my first couchsurfing in Japan after registering for almost one year. It’s an awesome experience which gave me a chance to get some understanding of life in JP and integrate into the society. I drank, I laughed and I traveled with my hosts. I wasn’t lonely at all despite I traveled by myself.

Interests

I love reading as long as the books are worth and attractive to read.

Books : Harry Potter!

I've read this series of novel hundred times. I can call myself a die hard fans of Harry Potter without any shame. Honestly i don't really like the movies of HP since there are a bunch of crucial parts have been omitted.Therefore i've directed my own version of HP movies in mind while i'm reading :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept in a house of a strange and old lady who i met at the first time in Taiwan! There was something wrong with the room i slept , full of mirrors, blinking light and portraits. it scared me but i had no choice as all hostels were full booking and i didn't want to sleep outside. Finally i fell asleep. The craziest thing is next day, the old lady told me that there were a couple died in the room where i slept last night!!
