Hi, my name is Jenna. I recently graduated from Humboldt State University in Northern, California (U.S) with a degree in Zoology. I'm very passionate about holistic health and medicine, believe in the natural strength of our bodies, and the healing powers of food. I'm vegan and a huge animal lover. Love to imagine a compassionate world where all sentient beings experience love and freedom - that's the world I hope to help create!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a few wonderful people on couchsurfers in Quito and I surfed in Portland (Oregon), Spain, Amsterdam, Croatia and Germany.

Interests

Social justice - including animal rights! Activism, vegetarianism, spending time with animals (human and nonhuman), traveling, languages, community gardens, friendships, holistic nutrition, yoga, challenging myself, meeting new people and learning from others.

Some of my favorite books are: The beauty Detox Solution by Kimberly Synder (this book changed the way I thought about food), Quiet by Susan Cain (Im a total introvert and proud of it!), A heartbreaking work of Staggering Genius, Ten Tiny Breaths, the Blessings of the Animals, White Oleander

Movies: My favorites include: Life as a House, Eternal sunshine for a spotless mind, in her shoes, Ghost World, Crazy Beautiful, Juno, Back to the Future, Forest Gump, Garden State, Anywhere but Here, Timer
