About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A.) finish an entire tube of chapstick before loosing it B.) Overcome the gofer that is destroying my vegetable garden!

ABOUT ME

I've got gypsy blood running in my veins and I tend to feel like a cornered wild animal if I stay put in one town/state/area for too long. I'd like to take this time to blame my mother for that as she was always dragging us kids around to show us neat things in new places. Thanks Ma.

I'm always up for an adventure and making new friends. Damn you Southwest for always emailing me with your special offers!!

PHILOSOPHY

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host, be hosted, share lives!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some extraordinary people via couch surfing that I know I will remain friends with for the remainder of my life. I've had nothing but positive experiences with everyone I've come across with on this site.

Interests

I enjoy climbing, kayaking, carve boarding, gardening, sitting in my easy chair with a tasty adult beverage in my hand. I love discovering cities by bike. Actually, I prefer my bike to my truck as my mode of transportation regardless if it's in a new place or my home town.

I wouldn't necessarily say I'm all that great in the kitchen, but I do love to cook. Plus, when you cook, you get to use chef juice (wine). If something comes out tasty, well hell's bells, everyone is a winner.

Music, Movies, and Books

Indie rock, Classic rock, Tom Petty, Hannibal, Chuck Palahniuk. Not much of a movie buff (not opposed just don't choose to have the time)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots of little things thrill me. I think people forget how awesome things can be and focus too much on the bad.

1. Regardless of how mushy my brain may someday get from old age, I will never forget rolling in the warm water beach break for literally hours with some of my best friends on a empty beach in Costa Rica. Just laughing and enjoying the water and each others company as the waves pushed us up and down the beach.

2. The first time seeing the blue blue water of Crater Lake. That place is amazing. Go visit it... go visit it now. That was just breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share
