ABOUT ME

When traveling, I'm very outgoing and more than willing to start up a conversation just to chat with travelers. Some may find that annoying but I love meeting people and getting to know someone. I really enjoy new adventures and enjoy traveling with my wife Lynn as we circumnavigate the world. Most say I'm a cross between being kind-hearted and just plain goofy.

I spent 20+ years as an accountant but when we moved from Atlanta, GA, I followed my passion of making frozen treat and it has evolved into a business of making healthy all natural fruit popsicles and not so healthy chocolates and confectionaries. If you stay with us, be prepared to be a guinea pig for new and interesting popsicle flavors.

When I'm not traveling and hosting, I'm laid back and more than willing to pour you a couple fingers of scotch, whiskey, beer, or a simple coffee and discuss our adventures overseas. I'm American while my wife is Singaporean and we've seen more than 60 countries between the two of us. We're open-minded and very easy going.

Right now I'm a couch surfer as I just signed up as a member. When I get back to Bentonville, AR (where the heck is that?) I plan on hosting.

None so far, looking forward to it!

Interests

Creating new and exciting confectionaries (professionally), enjoying nature, meeting people, discussing culture and ideas. I enjoy traveling and have lived in many parts of the world including Asia, Europe, and the USA.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly fantasy fiction but enjoy a good historical book as well. I met Lynn when I used to teach Salsa dancing lessions so I'm into Latin music as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iguazu Falls, Argentina/Brazil - standing on top of a waterfall looking up into the Devil's Throat from the Brazil side.

Scuba Diving, Cancun - while diving on vacation, we happened upon a pod of dolphins and were in the water when they swam by. Several of the dolphins stopped by for a quick pet before they were on their way again.
