Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Heard about it from a few friends and thought we would give it a go. I think it's an amazing idea to be able to immerse yourself with the locals rather than just seeing the tourist traps and moving on. Now that we are back from our big trip we are still keen to meet new people and show them the beautiful place where we live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have couch-surfed during a big round-the-world trip we did in 2013 and now we are settled back in Mackay we are keen to meet up with people as they pass through.

Interests

We are addicted to Jetskiing both in the dam and over to the islands.

Photography, music, food, drinking, going to the beach, snow boarding, activities we can't do at home.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are interested in learning to cook dishes from all over. There isn't really much of an Aussie cuisine but we will happily bastardise everyone else's food and call it our own. German is probably our favourite thus far.
