Besides trying every and anything that catches my fancy from soccer to mixed martial arts to guitar playing to youth mentoring I like to simply enjoy. Nothing better than smiling at the sun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once sitting on a rock outcropping overlooking a pond in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Being so fully enraptured by the natural world I just lay staring at the clouds for a good 45 minutes in perfect silence. Rarely have I been happier.
In high school I was on a 4-day retreat. At the end of the third day my retreat leader handed me a manila envelope. It was overflowing with letters from family and friends who took the time to tell me they love me. It was simply fantastic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I started going around with a whiteboard asking people what they want to do before they die and what makes them feel alive. The answers are incredible.
