About Me

I'm passionate about life and people. Eager to always make a new friend, have a thoughtful conversation, laugh until I'm crying or cry until I'm laughing lol. I'm also always down to dance, do some spontaneous traveling, and be out in nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because traveling with a community like couchsurfing makes every trip more interesting, real, and memorable. I love this community because it is an example of how people can be so kind, open, giving, and trusting, it is what I admire about humanity and what I want to promote and learn from.

Interests

I am interested in social research, human rights, culture and history, and sharing our experiences thus far in this world.

I want to become more knowledgeable about other ways of living that do not always follow the status quo. I'm interested in being challenged and expanding my knowledge of life and people.

I'm also interested in a glass of wine jaja.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy music, specially live music of any type, and if you think there is something I should listen to then I want to listen to it!

Movies: Anything by Richard Linklater

Books: Currently reading Wretched of the Earth and some Julio Cortazar poetry. I usually enjoy non-fiction, or humorous books like augusten burroughs and Etgar Keret.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a really amazing opportunity to go on a hike of Mnt. Namsa in Gyeongyu, South Korea with a Buddhist Monk who I randomly met at a bus station and offered to guide us through the mountain.

I hiked 12 miles in Big Sur Park California to get to Sykes Hot Springs, we only had a towel, cherry tomatoes, a bag of trail mix, and sunscreen. No flashlight, no tent, it was a wild and stupid adventure but it was perfect! jajaja

I set off in Feb 2016 to London to be an Au pair. To say the least it lasted two weeks but it turned into a 5 month backpacking adventure through Europe, turkey, Egypt and Morocco. I stayed with couchsurfers all along the way and met some of the kindest, most generous people I have yet to meet, especially in Egypt!! Life Is Glorious!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish, share stories, recommend places to go, and always down to share a laugh and some drinks.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my passion for life and traveling, stories, my love for music and dancing and my eagerness to learn and explore.

If you host me I can make you dulce de leche, Cuban style :D
