About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live, laugh, love & travel as much as humanly possible.

ABOUT ME

Instagram: cassandrahhhhh

Completely extroverted! I wear my heart & my personality on my sleeve - tends to happen when you're a Military brat. Growing up overseas in a Military community I've been exposed to any and every situation / culture / personality...the list is endless. As a child I learned pretty quickly to adapt to situations & to read people really really well. I'm open to everyone & everything! I love to try new things, see new places, meet new people & laugh, laugh, laugh & laugh some more. ;)

PHILOSOPHY

"How vain it is to sit down & write when you have not stood up to live." - RWE

Interests

I am an utter and total sci-fi geek, haha. Something you probably wouldn't guess when you first meet me considering I speak like I was raised in Northern California (I blame it on childhood TV shows), however, after about half an hour we'll probably be discussing sci-fi films, horror films, SEGA, whether or not the Lochness monster is real, aliens, literature, or possibly my recent MA thesis topic...anthropodermic bibliopegy. After you've looked that term up and gotten over the initial shock, we'll have some pretty great conversations. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple...

Went to visit a friend in Tokyo, Japan - he waited until it was dark out & then we caught the train to Shibuya. Ran into the center of the ever famous crosswalk right as the crossing signals went off...by far one of the most surreal moments of my life.

Love Parade 2006 in Berlin, Germany. As a passionate lover of any techno, trance, dance, electro, house, DnB, dubstep, UK garage...you name it...the entire event was MAGICAL. Millions of people gathered together simply to enjoy the company of others who share their love for that music genre. EPIC.

The fresh markets in Turkey! Went there with my family over the past summer & it was completely wonderful! The colors, the smells, the people, the food - all crammed under giant canopies...I'd head back in a heartbeat!
