ABOUT ME

I consider myself a positive person always willing to experience and learn.

I believe in eating well and keeping fit although I still enjoy a good wine or a Beer and some good Rock/Funk music and going out for a drink from time to time.
In life I think I have adopted a Zen philosophy due to the fact that I used to practice martial arts.

PHILOSOPHY

- Never do to others what you would not like done upon yourself.

- Even a journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step.

- Never seek the goal, enjoy the intentions towars it and it will become timeless.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If anybody wishes to visit Marbella and would like to meet up, I can show them around or give good advice.

I love MTB & I Know some excelent Mountain biking trails or hiking trails, would like to start organizing trips with local & visiting CSérs.

I wish to travel up to the north of Europe ( Love the Alps, would love to see more of Scandinavia.) so if anyone has a couch to offer or wants to show me some good Hiking or biking trails that would be great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, when I get my own pad I will gladly offer my couch, things have been bad for me the last years and I am now living with a friends father, but I would love to meet up with any Surfers visiting in the area.

Interests

I love Nature and outdoors and all sport activities that can be done in the wild, M.T.B. , snow boarding, Hiking, etc.....
I am a photographer although I have done other work for too many years now my aim is to engage in photography again as a full time profession.
I Love motorbikes, have had them all my life but I can live without them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Birth of my son.

At the beggining of the 1990s,September, I traveled from Toronto to Vancouver on a motorbike. I did 5500 km in 5 days crossing every imaginable climate and landscape.

Went to visit Buntzen Lake in a park in Vancouver at the begining of spring, the ice on the lake was cracking and the noise it made was tremendous, cracks and explosions that resounded off the surrounding mountains, I stood there alone with my bike and felt like an ant in the hall of Valhalla.

Karate seminar with Aoki, incredibly swift man.

"Las Cruzes de Granada." We drove up for one evening out, we arrived 4 days later...

What I Can Share with Hosts

If Csérs come to Marbella I can Show them great hiking & biking trails.
I enjoy Rock music & I keep informed of all the concerts happening on the coast & know good bars to go to if you like Rock, blues style music, although sometimes I go to places with dance or Pop music 2 ;).
I also know great places to eat or go out or can organize a great BBQ.

If someone is willing to take me in on their couch I can share my experience, love for photography,philosophy or cook some great food for them.
