About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life openly and honestly, with kindness and intentionality.

ABOUT ME

Hmmm. What to say, what to say? I have been going through a major transition in my life. It;s been painful, incredibly hard and hopefully it is almost over. One of the good things about it is that I have done a lot of soul-searching and introspection and feel like I will come out the other side of this as a much better person.

PHILOSOPHY

Be True to Myself.
Be unambiguously honest.
Be unafraid.
Be Good.
Be Fit.
Be Interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) each time my kids were born, I was moved to a point of near incapacitation.
2) Maybe this is shallow, but there were two TV shows that left me awestruck in the last year. One was "The Body" on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I watched it 5 days after my dad died. I was alone and I kept having to stop it for the sobbing and the tears. The other was watching the episode of Dr. Who called "Vincent and the Doctor".
****************
Amy Pond: We didn't make a difference at all.
The Doctor: I wouldn't say that. The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. Hey. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I am moved by both art / human accomplishment as well as by nature and the majesty of the universe.

I've traveled a lot over the years and seen some amazing things. Ask me about them.

I've gone through hell and been vindicated by finding happiness. It is an awesome thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

People greatly experienced in and passionate about, something I know nothing about. Here are a few examples of things I know very little about, but would like to learn more. Organic farming. Being frugal. Tying knots. Making things.
