Great experience! I'm thankful I joined! I've surfed in and outside the U.S. and hosted both domestic and international visitors.

Interests

I love being active! I work with international students, so I get to travel a good bit. I've visited 45 (of 50) US states, and 32 countries.

I also love to run, play Ultimate Frisbee, hike, rock climb, be outside, read, grab a cup of coffee with a friend, have meaningful conversations, and peruse thrift stores.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Life is Beautiful, Dead Poet's Society, Les Miserables, While You Were Sleeping, When Harry Met Sally, and Tombstone
Music: I pretty much like all genres, but I especially love musical soundtracks, country, folk, and rock. U2 and the Civil Wars are two bands I absolutely adore!
Books: Well, I love to read, so I like almost all books. Some favs, though, include To Kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, A Thousand Splendid Suns, One Thousand Gifts, anything by C.S. Lewis, Lord of the Rings, Half the Sky, and the Bible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I maaaay have crawled through a patch of wilderness to sneak into Huayna Picchu without a proper ticket while I was visiting Machu Picchu.
