ABOUT ME

I'm currently working full-time as a developer and I'm hoping to go back to Sweden and visit my friends again as I miss them a lot. I'm currently residing in Melbourne but I really want to travel around again soon.

PHILOSOPHY

I find it amazing that people are so willing to help out when they can. I suppose when I think about the times I have helped out people I didn't really give it a second thought but when I've been the one in need I was so grateful.

I am big about respecting other people's boundaries. That's why my place has a spare room with an actual bed.

I'm all about helping out when I can. If I stay with some one I always try and help out when I can.

I stayed with a guy in Sweden and I cleaned out his freezer because it was covered in ice. I've brought concert tickets for people I've stayed with and have sent over gifts from Australia to past hosts.

ABOUT MY HOME ****PLEASE READ****

I live in a small apartment.

I do not accept smokers at all (my mother died from lung cancer) and I am not comfortable with people who want to party hard because I live in a quiet neighbourhood and I work full time. It's really quiet here because the neighbours are older folk who keep to themselves. If you want to party hard it is probably best you stay in a hostel.

The room I have available is a spare room.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whilst in Australia I helped tourists out by showing them where to eat cheaply as well as taking some of them in when I could.

I have shown past guest how to get to my place because they failed to do research before coming and got lost. It happens! :P

I've brought concert tickets, sent over Australian foods, cleaned out freezers, done my share of dishes and cleaned the house for past hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a guy in Stockholm for 1 month when I found myself unemployed and ran out of money. I found a job as quickly as I could and returned the favour of his hospitality by taking him to see a concert at Globen.

I've also stayed with friend in Melbourne when I was in between homes.

I've had people stay at my new place a few times.

I have had some pretty crazy experiences with some people staying with me so I'm a little bit wary about who I have stay which I think is fair enough. Personal safety should always be number 1 for everyone!

The best surfer I've ever had cleaned my house and made dinner. I really hate tidying and vacuuming so that was the best thing that ever happened.

I listen to pretty much anything. I've really been getting into Rap music because I think it's hilarious that a girl like me could be listening to that.

I really love fantasy books and I am a big fan of Scandinavian movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is get on a plane and leave my hometown. It was scary and exciting at the same time and I'll admit I actually started crying.

I have a bed in a spare room. Linen and towels are provided.

I am happy to do dishes and clean up around the house. I have sent gifts to past hosts.
