ABOUT ME

Hi,
My name´s Mirko and I am Italian. I am a translator. I can speak English, Spanish and Czech other than my mother tongue. Four years ago I moved to the magical city of Prague where I am still living. I love travelling. I think that travelling with an open heart and a receptive mind is the best way to get to know foreign cultures and at the same time to find out more about who we are, where we come from and also where we are heading to.

Interests

Most of all I like dramatic natural sceneries. One of my dreams is to visit the Iguazu Falls. When I am home, I like relaxing over a good dinner and watching a movie. I also like learning new languages because I belive it is the only way we can truly understand and appreciate a different culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With a friend of mine, we crosssed the Carrick-a-Rede rope suspension bridge near Ballintoy in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The bridge links the mainland to the tiny Carrick Island. It was quite the thing for us young backpackers at the time.
