About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make friends, laugh loudly, and experience the freedom to travel.

ABOUT ME

I love the outdoors because I grew up hiking, biking, and playing around in it. I love meeting people and people in general because I don't know what else is better in life than to hang out with friends. I am rocking some long curly hair which is the longest I have ever had it. I love to run and I run everyday. I like volunteering and serving others because I get a lot out of doing it. I love to laugh, party, and experience a new environment. So please take the time and get to know me!

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am studying aboard in Northern Ireland right now so I participate by trying to find a host for me around Europe. If I like it then I will host in the USA when I get back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a couch surfer who loved it but besides that I am a newbie. I swear I am nice though so please give me a chance :)

Interests

I love adventure and meeting new people. For instance, my friends and I decided we wanted to travel around the USA. So we thought the best way to do that would be to travel in a big bus that we could cook, sleep, and eat in. Also, we thought that if we were traveling around the US we might as well do some good. So, we started the non-profit (or NGO) ecogreaselightning. Our mission is to promote environmental sustainability while doing service work in the communities we pass through. Also, we converted our bus to run on waste veggie oil in order to demonstrate our care for the environment. The whole experience was a crazy and entertaining trip. There were fires, new people, late nights, fights, crys, laughs, and even google.

So that experience showed me that I love to be outgoing and try to work for the people who are not always heard. I love doing crazy things and I am willing to roll with what is given to me. I can talk for hours about what we did. You should check out ecogreaselightning.org if you want more.

As for my interest they fall in between outdoor adventure, partying, people, science, running, and service work. So I like to have a little bit of interest in a lot of things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made some amazing friend back home in Saint Louis, at school in Arkansas, and now aboard in Northern Ireland. I have seen some great outdoor adventure things; some of them are as small as an insect or and big as a waterfall. For example, I have backpacked in the Smokey Mountains NC, I have traveled around the US doing lots of sweet trips. I am now aboard trying to make the most of my time here.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I have learned: If you can find something that your heart truly cares about, be it a person, movement, job or other, then you can do achieve anything you want as long as you go all out to do so. Note Ecogrease Lightning.

What I want to learn: I just want to grow as a person. There is so much I can learn putting anything specific here is impossible.
