About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people (how original) and people on Couchsurfing are open and have that curiosity that only people who have traveled have.

Interests

I love food. Food is my reason to live, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream was the genuine reason of my coming to the USA, in addition to american football. I got to fill my life dream: watch the superbowl while eating Ben & Jerry's (hakf-baked).

I am known to quote from movies and especially Disney movies a lot. I won't apologize for it.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: Gladiator, Old Boy, Boondock Saints, House of the Flying Daggers, Warrior, Hua Mulan, everything Disney

Books: Games of Throne, The Name of the Wind, Lord of the Ring, Lord of the Flies, Jane Eyre

Music: Movie scores (Hans Zimmer...), Reggaeton, Dancehall, Heavy Metal (Gojira, Rammstein, Meshuggah, Down...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Climbing into an ruined ancient tower in the Irish countryside and spending the night there around a fire and friends.

- Getting stuck in Miami because I'm stupid and I booked my return ticket one month later than I should have. My friend left and I had to stay 1 more day in a youth hostel. I had more fun in one night than the whole week! I realised that by yourself you meet awesome people and you don't necessarily get robbed/raped/killed in the process.

- Touring with a French death metal band in England as merch girl. It was definitely a new experience, showering in swimming pools and being on the road with little to no idea as to where we'd sleep the same night. And sure enough, everytime we'd plan ahead, it would fail. We ended up sleeping in a squat on top of a bar where we drank and fought till 6am with the owner, i learnt how to make romanian coffee after having to tiptoe accross a living room full of band members lying on the floor (The Emperor's New Groove style, that one scene with all the panthers), and i got to feed pigs and ducks when a British punk hosted us at his family's farm with utmost hospitality.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I am a good cook, mainly because I love to eat... crepes, vegetable pies, homemade pasta, anything really

I am a very good petter if you have pets. I grew up without any pets (I don't count Nemo, he lasted but a week, RIP) so i'll be more than happy to walk your dog
