About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding more meaning in life, happiness and myself

ABOUT ME

Freaky, daring and straight-forward. Artsy-fartsy and creative, imaginative and funny. At the same time, I can also be terribly serious (I'm serious!) and a deep-thinker. Always want to learn new things in life and never give up. I think people see different sides of me, and I do believe that I show them different Amys. They are unique and that fact makes our relationship unique as well. Nonetheless, I believe that compiled together, they will say I have that rainbow color inside me ;)

PHILOSOPHY

You are who you are. Nobody can tell you who you are. You will be the happiest when you become yourself. So, cherish your freakiness and walk those haters away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to try different type of travelling. Meeting people on the way, creating memories together and grow some more from the experience. My friend hosted one girl from CS. We had really nice time together. Moreover, she introduces me to more and more people and more and more fun times. So, I really want to have that experience again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first surfing experience was in Munich and I had a blast. Having locals to hang out with helps you see the city better, more in a naked way ;) I love it and I'll do it again in other places.

Interests

I like books! It's very engaging. At times, I feel that when I am reading, I am one of the characters. I love drawing as well. Every now and then I sketch people, especially at boring lectures (oops!) and for people I know, especially my close friends. I like meeting new people and talking about new stuffs, things I'm not familiar with, or completely a new one! Life is more interesting when you see more gradients in it. I am also a movie addict. I appreciate great movies and enjoy talking about it with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Many, many, many! I can't pick some since different books touch me in different time in my life.

One book that I can never forget is Memoirs of a Geisha.
Now, I'm crazy about One Day by David Nicholls.
I'm reading Wuthering Heights and I'm soo absorbed by it. Great book!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Life! I keep on getting amazed by it. You change, people change, the world changes. What can be more awesome?!

I can never forget the time I spent at Piazza del Duomo in Milan, Italy. I think the atmosphere was just magical.

If I have to pick the tops in my list, it's too bad that I can't mention them. Not because I don't want to share, but because I forget! I think the real beauty in life comes in the modest, simplest way, gesture or event. That, is the real beauty. Not just make-up.
