About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I am easy-going, easy to get along with; I am very rarely stressed, and live with a degree of flexibility. For the most I am optimistic and able to see positively. I am not overly talkative, nor taciturn; I will listen happily to whatever you might want to say.

PHILOSOPHY

So complex not even Kant could summarize it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am constantly listening to music... any silence that can be prevented will be. Some favourites are Joni Mitchell, The National, Laura Marling, Beirut, Constantines, Weather Station, Iceage, Phosphorescent, Joanna Newsom and Fiona Apple.

As for movies, I don't watch many but I really love Lost in Translation, Good Will Hunting, Fargo, and Inside Llewyn Davis. Stuff by the Coen brothers and Sophia Coppola in general are good.....also like whatever Greta Gerwig's in....or Keira Knightley (including the hilarious Pirates of the Caribbean!)

as for books....I can't deny the luminous Tolstoy.... spent probably more time than was healthy with his books. There are far too many others to write down at this point in time....though I feel obliged to continue raving about Hemingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls that I read last summer.... that shit still keeps me up at night sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a good stereotypical response to this would be climbing Yr Wyddtha via Crib Goch in Northern Wales, which was definitely an amazing day...but i must also mention the time i trapped a chipmunk using only a pot and some rope - he never saw it coming!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn anything and everything.
