About Me

CURRENT MISSION

‎"You do not travel if you are afraid of the unknown, you travel for the unknown, that reveals you with yourself."

ABOUT ME

Totally living above the clouds :) Very friendly and curious of learning foreign habits and cultures and languages.
I hate the city noise and traffic. I hate organized tours where people tell you where to go and what too do. I experienced my first trip alone, this summer in Japan and I really loved it. Somentimes I need to stay alone with myself and go around (it's better if I'm in the middle of nature) without a goal.

PHILOSOPHY

I wanna use a quote from one of my best loved books: INTO THE WILD. I'd continuously read this book and see the film. Probably my "philosophy" is similar to Chris Mccandless' one.

"You are wrong if you think Joy emanates only or principally for human relationships. God has placed it all around us. It is in everything and anything we might experience."

And I'd repeat the famous Jobs' quote: "Stay hungry stay foolish". We have always to be curious, follow our dream and avoid that people block us =)

The freedom theme is so important for me..as a matter of fact I also love '60s culture about Hippy and their ideas of peace ("I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one").

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually I live with my parents and unfortunatley I cannot host =(
But I'd be glad to have a drink or a short trip in my vicinities with the other surfers. ;)

Interests

My main passion is TRAVELLING. Since I've started to work, I can't stand staying @ home too much. I always need to get away from it all, it doesn't matter how much, it's enough a couple of days.
Other interests:
- nature
- doin' joggin'
- takin' photographs with my reflex
- music (I've just started to learn playing the guitar)
- learnin' foreign languages
- Technology (probably I'm a nerd hihih)
- Web
- Football

Music, Movies, and Books

Every day of my life is full of music..in particular, rock 'n roll music =) I cannot live without it!In contrast with rock & metal music, I go crazy for piano songs..or songs reminding me fabulous and dreaming atmospheres..like Sigur Ros, Mum, God is an astronaut, The Explosions in the sky. or piano songs) because they they put me in another world...far away..=)

I love historic film or films about the social situation of a country.

I love reading about Hippy years, Woodstock, '60s or something more philosophical =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1)I've been to Moscow, the dream I had when I started the university and my foreign languages course. The fact that I have been able to speak (not so good) in Russian with local people, made me so happy =) It was a dream..and I realized it!

2)I loved very much my trip to Thailand because I took with me the smiles that people gave to everyone or the help they gave without askin' nothin' in change. For example, in the middle of a night, me and my friends ran out of petrol and a kind boy working in a supermarket took us to the next petrol dealer. In my country we would have had to walk for kilometres until finding such a gentle person.

3) The beutiful scenery I saw in Lofoten islands made me cry. I don't have words to explain what I felt when I was there and what I feel when I think about those days..

4) I realized another dream: Japan. When I was a child I watched a lot of manga cartoons and I got passionate of japanese culture.. It has been my first trip alone and so made it so special to me..It gave strenght to say to me "you're fuc***ng cool..last second you planned your trip and you didn't care if your friends didn't follow you.. but you follow your dreams =) "
