Live the life we love, Love the life we live! ❤️

ABOUT US

Hello friends!
We are Melody and Juan Manuel, a couple from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Since we met in Argentina in 2011, we knew that the following years we wanted to be together and travelling...and we cannot be that lucky because that's what we are doing now :). We didn't know how to live travelling, we just started one day and the opportunities just came to us after a lot of work and a lot of passion. Now we are living a beautiful life full of travels.

I (Melody) started to travel on 2009. My first destination was New Zealand, my first love, love at first sight. I went there for one year holding the Working Holiday visa. One year later I was heading to Australia for one more year holding the same visa. Metting great people on the road and many stories to tell.
After Australia I went for a trip to South Asia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Japan.

When I went back to Argentina after my trip, Juan was just there listening to all my travelling stories and also wishing to travel. Was easy to fell in love with this amazing person ❤️

Since we started to travel together on 2012, we've been living and working in Brazil for 9 months enjoying the amazing beach life everyday. After we went to Ireland for 1 year and 3 months, Dublin has millions of funny stories to tell and the whole country look just like a tale. Ireland is a so special place for us because we got married there ❤️!! After that we did an amazing trip all around Europe, we have been in England, Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovaquia, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria and Italy, visiting friends that we had met before in other places and enjoying life as easy as it is. And a lot of great couchsurfers hosted us in that trip.

After Europe we traveled around Thailand for 6 months doing a lot of volunteering in organic farms, hostels, resorts, also doing translation works. After we went to Cambodia and spent 1 month there.
After Asia we went back to Australia for 6 months working and traveling.

In 2017 we went back to Argentina to fill our souls with love and positive energies from our family and friends for a couple of month, then we started a trip from South America, we went to Brazil again, Bolivia, Peru and finally Ecuador. Amazing places to go back some day.
After Ecuador, we went back to Europe, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, was waiting for us to show us that amazing island day by day for 1 year and a half! We discovered breathtaking beaches and did a lot of climbing mountains!

After Spain we went to Marruecos to visit the amazing city of Fez, the blue pearl Choefcheuen and the Sahara Desert!

Then we went back to Argentina and we were travelling around our beautiful and huge country until we went back to Mallorca again on 2019, to our second home! We have been working in our loved proyect about making jewelry with the Macrame technique and semi precious stones that we get in all our travells. And we are also studying silver and gold jewelry.

We always wanted to go to Mexico and finally our dream came true (once again :) ) at the begening of 2020. We spent 2 amazing month enjoying the good life, amazing beach with pelicanos and all kind of fishies, so many great tacos and we just LOVE MEXICO!!!!

Then just before corona virus start, we came back to Mallorca and here we are now! Trying to keep moving but only in Spain now because we never know whats going on next in this crazy but amazing world!

We are happy persons because we do what we really love, with a lot of passion and positive energies, wanting to live a good and easy life of travels and love, full of friendly people who would like to help us in our way. Always in a good mood and facing the paths of life.
We are also craftsmen, we love handmade things, so we make Macrame jewelry while we are travelling. You can take a look to our amazing things on facebook and instagram looking for "Traces of Macrame"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We really like to do CS because is the only way that we found to meet local people and learn from them, share meals, stories, cultures, laughs and smiles.
We believe that our purpose in this life is to help each other, that hospitality exists, that all the people is nice and friendly, that is what the world and the people show us every single day, just good things.
If it wasn't for all the people that was helping us during our trip, we couldn't have done it. We apreciate so much all the help we recived from people all this years and we hope this never ends.
We are dreamers and we wanna keep dreaming as long as we can.
" The freedom and simple beauty is just too good to pass up "

No había sabido amar. Si en el momento de lanzarse hubiera tenido la fuerza de creer firmemente en la realización de su amor, hubiese volado hacia arriba a reunirse con su estrella..."

In English should be something like this...
..." And he told me the story of a boy in love with a star . Adored his star seaside spread their arms towards her, dreamed of her and directed all his thoughts. But he knew or thought he knew , that a star could not be embraced by a human being, believed that his destiny was to love a star without hope, and this idea built around a poem critical of renunciation and silent suffering and faithful that would purify and perfect himself . All his dreams were focused on the star . One night he was back by the sea , on a cliff , watching the star and burning with love for her. At the moment of greatest passion gave a few steps forward and jumped into the void, to meet her. But in that moment he thought it was impossible so he broken down to the beach. He had not known love. If at the time of launch would have had the strength to believe firmly in the realization of his love, had flown up to meet his star ... "
