ABOUT ME

I have never been great with the whole writing a profile on yourself (but sit me down over a tea or beer I could go on for a while, perhaps to long.)I suppose some would say I am the stereotyped gemini.

I have about a million interests but never seem to get to deep into any single one of them. I enjoy meeting new people, talking about nearly anything at all (I as much enjoy learning new things) I enjoy finding myself in new places and situations.

I have attended post secondary without ever completing high school (after switching programs I decided that college would not provide me with the education I desired so left.

Worked a retail job that made me quite unhappy, quit it moved out west just the past summer to pick fruit. Fell in love with it.

(In time I hope to have my thoughts in this a little more organized and presentable, any questions- just ask)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Fairly new to the community, right now I am unable to offer a couch as I do not have an established place of residence, however I am interested in meeting other travelers.

Currently I am in the Niagara Region and will be for the next month. I have lived in Peterborough for a couple years and enjoy visiting the city, so anyone looking to meet up for food, drink or see some local sites in either city feel free to drop me a line.

In traveling I hope to meet up with others (hosts and those surfing, exchange stories, perhaps see local sites that often get overlooked by tourists.)

Honestly here to learn, share and teach.

Interests

Though I have a million different interests I am happiest to meet others who are interested in:

-Music (love attending shows, can't play an instrument but happy to learn)

-circus arts (former gymnast and such a love for it, was starting to learn to play with fire before the travels began, it has since been on hold...)

-Food and drink- Sustainable and fair, local, politics, cooking, just such a love for it! I am an avid tea drinker.

-Spirituality.

-Plants/Herbs/Gardening

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoy most music. Industrial, Electronic all hold a very special place in my heart.

Books- I am terrible for having multiple things on the go (a habit I am slowly breaking) happy to read what I can get my hands on (fiction or non-fiction) right now Stephen King Shorts, Mists of Avalon and writings of Charles Godfrey Leland.

Movie- Dark Crystal, Never Ending Story, Labyrinth, Spider, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Equilibrium, Children of Men.... Ohh the list just goes on

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trouble deciding upon one or two but the train through the Rocky Mountains. 24 years spent in Canada and it was only the past summer I got to see the other half of it. An amazing experience and view.

Dancing under the starlight staying awake to watch the sunrise. Life is precious, every moment has great potential. <3
