About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoying life, travelling and meeting interesting people

ABOUT ME

over 25 years ago I decided to leave holland to live in the country in france for the weather, food and space to live. I never regretted it.

been living together with my love, Christopher. he is English and much younger than I am, 40 years only

I love to enjoy the good things of life; ALL the things!! I donot like to waist time as it is too precious so sometimes I seem to be patient and sometimes to be in a hurry to go on.

PHILOSOPHY

carpe diem
enjoy every minute; life is precious

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

started couchsurfing in 2012; read about it in newspaper (le monde); it is a great way to travel/host and meet people. love travelling by public transport; makes one feel less tourist. couchsurfing seems to add a big plus by giving the possibility to meet and even stay with the people who live themselves in the country you are visiting

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

stayed in oslo, porto and galicia and couchsurfing is great!!

Interests

I am very interested in seventeenth century (maritime) history; architecture, love hiking, reading, walking with my dog in the country, prepare dinner, work in the garden and on the house, etc
