Overview
About Me
I'm a student of life, as long as I remain open-minded while living with an honest and courageous heart I will continue learning and growing from inside and out, and I think that is what life is about... authenticity, living through experiences and making human connections whether short, long or a smile to brighten someones day in that moment a connection is made, you never know that smile might have restored someones faith in humanity.
Love and learn.
At this moment in time as of September 7, 2016 I have joined the world of academia, once again, but happily I think I have found my path, which is the Horticulture Technician program here at Niagara-on-the-lake campus! :)
ABOUT ME
I am here on Earth to learn, and love. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, and I welcome people from all over this world! I am excited to travel in the future once I have completed my studies. I would love to meet new people, and see new places, cultures, and landscapes all over this incredibly beautiful planet.
Thank you,
Sarah
PHILOSOPHY
We are all the same, human that is, and it is important for us to accept ourselves first before we can learn about and accept others. We do this by demonstrating compassion with our self and others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch-surfing to travel, meet people from all over the world and live by experience, and learn about other people's stories.
Interests
Indoor:
Designing, sewing, drawing, writing, smearing paint, reading, watching movies, playing cards: euchre and board games.
Outdoor:
I love the outdoors and water, thoroughly enjoy swimmimg, hiking, laying in the leaves in Autumn while starting at the sky. I would love to try surfing, fencing, and many other things, like rock climbing and white water rafting (again).
Learning, challenging myself and being challenged by others. Intellectually stimulating conversation, and adventures in the many forms they take.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't traveled to many places at all, except I've lived all over Ontario, and been all over Ontario. In addition, I went to Cuba recently (February 2012). It was an amazing experience in itself because it taught me how to just be, and I met wonderful, kind, and loving individuals from Cuba. Also, I moved to Nanaimo, B.C. for a brief time as well, and visited Victoria B.C. while I was living out, but unfortunately, I never made it out to Tofino, or Cathedral Grove (on my bucket list!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy meeting individuals who are open-minded and who are interested in expressing their authentic selves.
I'm currently learning French through an incredible website called memrise.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My love of cooking tasty meals, a varied sense of humour, and an open mind :)
P.S. I am terrified of bread crumbs...because I have Celiac Disease, so that makes it a truly justified fear, lol.
