ABOUT ME

We are a happy couple who loves traveling. Open minded, always trying to learn new things. I used to be a physicist. I now work in renewable energy and I'm trying to start my own web company to promote clean energy. Sarah is a medical doctor, one year away from finishing her training to be a fully qualified family doctor (GP). After that we want to travel around the world for a while.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We like to meet new people and learn from their experiences. We love long interesting conversations, and showing people the local tips and tricks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have effectively couch-surfed in Paris, London, Hamburg, Singapore, Aarhus, Copenhagen, Heidelberg, Saaremaa ... only not through the CS site but through our extended network. When we lived in the UK, we hosted a bunch of travellers and really enjoyed hearing their stories and learning from their experiences.

Music: A wide variety ... Jazz, Funk, Swing, Django Reinhardt, Flamenco, some rock and metal, ... but we especially love dancing!! Sarah was my contemporary dance teacher.

- I've cycled accross the whole north of Spain (from Barcelona to Finisterre, near Santiago de Compostela)
- Sarah sailed a Japanese tall-ship in a trans-atlantic race as a teenager
- We recently sailed an old tall-ship from NY to Bermuda.

Do you have questions about the universe? The galaxy, the stars, the origin of it all? Do you want to learn about Quantum Physics. I'll be happy to explain it for you :)
I'd love to learn new coding and design skills. I Also want to learn more about meditation, philosophy, ... but pretty much I'm always open to learn new things.
