Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that couchsurfing is a great way to meet locals and learn about their culture! I have done quite a bit of travelling and surfing and I love exchanging stories :)

Interests

I love being outside in the sunshine. I am more attracted to warm weather versus cold. I dont ski, snowboard, or ice skate but always willing to try it once. I enjoy being a beach bum! I like to play tennis, rollerblade, watch movies, go out for a few drinks with my friends, and listen to some great live bands. I love being outside and hiking! Being in touch with nature is a beautiful feeling

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Across the Universe, Dirty Dancing, Harry Potter

Music: Obsessed with John Lennon and The Beatles. Other favorites include Fleetwood Mac, Nickleback, O.A.R, Kings of Leon,Jimmy Buffett. I listen to everything except House Music and Heavy Metal. I like hip hop, r&b, classic rock, country.

Books: Harry Potter, James Patterson, crime novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Walked the portion of the Great Wall of China.
2. I spent a month in Australia. Spent 2 weeks in the Outback building Rabbit Proof Fences. The Bilbies and Bandicoots are an endangered species and I loved being a part of helping them to survive. For the last 2 weeks, I travelled all along the east coast of the Country. Walking through the rainforest and walking on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world was an unforgettable experience.
3. Just completed a 2 year around the world backpack (2012-2014)..NZ->OZ->ASIA->EUROPE->PERU. Im ready for more adventures
