About Me

ABOUT ME

I live in Taiwan. I was born in Taichung city, and grew up in there. Now I'm working as a dentist in a a hospital in Taichung city now.

I live in an apartment alone now, I have a spared room and a sofa-bed in my living room, so I can host 2-3 people in my place.
But my place is actually far from the down town of Taichung city, it is close to the Mitsui outlet park of Taichung. But if you plan to visit the Gaomei Wetland, it would be more convenient for you to stay here.

I works in weekdays, but may be availability after work in the evening. I’m a big fan of traveling, so I would love to give advices about some special spots in Taiwan to you and also eager to know some information about those places I haven’t been to from you.
I can host u in Taichung city, and maybe can show you around the tourist spots nearby in the weekends.

I'm an outgoing person. I love to meet new people and make friends. Hope to make more friends around the world through this app.

Music, Movies, and Books

Taiwanese movies:
I love Taiwanese movies a lot! I think they are so close to my life, and always can make me recall some memories.
The Taiwanese movies that I love are

Blue Gate Crossing (藍色大門)(2002), Eternal Summer (盛夏光年)(2006), Keeping watch (沉睡的青春)(2007), Cape No. 7 (海角七號)(2008), Hear Me (聽說)(2009),Somewhere I Had Never Travelled (帶我去遠方) (2009), Seediq Bale (賽德克巴萊) (2011), Din Tao:Leader of the Parade (陣頭) (2012)...etc.

In all of the Taiwanese films, I especially love "Somewhere I Had Never Travelled". It talks about love, dream and travelling. It also reveals that we all need to be identified and accepted. It is kinda blue, but very impressive.

Western movies:
Due to the Hollywood movie industry, the western movie are popular around the world. I also watched lots of them.
One of my favorite is "Boy A" (2007). It's a story talking about a boy who was just discharged from the prison. It reveals the masses' judgment toward the people who had made mistakes and the struggles on their mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been volunteers in Gansu(in China) and Nepal.
I've taken part in the international volunteering trips which is held bythe an charity organization in Taiwan twice.
We went to some remote villages in different countries to teach the children there some knowledge that they might seldom be taught, like hygiene introduction, different cultures and so on.
They are amazing experiences to me. I think I learnt a lot from those kids. I learnt to be content with my lot, and to face the life optimistically.

2009 in China

2010 in Nepal

2011 in Bangkok and Chiangmai

2012 in Turkey

2014 in India
